Hopeful for resolution to farmers’ protest in 48 hrs: Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) chief Dushyant Chautala on Saturday stated he’s hopeful of an answer to the farmers’ protest within the subsequent 48 hours. Chautala made this assertion after assembly three Union Ministers.
While discussing the farmers’ protest with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, Chautala harassed on resuming the dialogue between the farmer leaders and the federal government as he stated that subsequent 24 to 48 hours are very essential.
“The solution to the farmers’ protest can be expected soon because of the positive attitude of the government.”
He expressed satisfaction over the proposal despatched to the farmer leaders by the federal government wherein it promised a written assurance.
The JJP chief apprised the three ministers concerning the numerous problems with farmers in Haryana together with the issue which farmers will face if a case is registered in opposition to them underneath the air pollution legislation.
He stated the federal government ought to finish the impasse on the earliest by beginning a dialogue with the farmers’ organisations.
Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been agitating since November 26 in opposition to three Union Agricultural Laws launched by the Central authorities. The farmers’ motion is continuous alongside the borders of the nationwide capital.
The JJP is perceived to have a robust assist base amongst farmers in Haryana. Some MLAs from the occasion have already prolonged their assist to the farmers’ motion.
Earlier, Dushyant Chautala had stated he will not permit any form of change to the Minimum Support Price (MSP) reserved for farmers and would resign as Deputy CM if the MSP guidelines for farmers had been affected.
